How Educational Childcare Works
Educational childcare at Phoenix is a new and growing part of our provision. Sessions are arranged around the child’s needs, family requirements, staffing availability and the type of support parents would like the childcare session to include.

In many cases, educational childcare may run alongside our tuition hours, using the same safe, structured Phoenix learning environment.
​
Educational childcare may include academic support, homework help, reading, study skills, exam preparation, arts and crafts, science and STEAM activities, gaming, enrichment and social development.
​
Sessions are structured, supervised and planned around the child’s age, needs, interests and the level of support required.
​
The same session may be suitable for families using childcare funding and for families paying through our tuition packages. The route used depends on eligibility, circumstances and funding options.
​
Pricing follows a very similar structure to our tuition packages, but may vary depending on the child’s needs and requirements. This may include SEND needs, additional supervision, tailored care, one to one support, or specific parent requests around what the childcare session should involve.

How We Can Support with Childcare Costs
Phoenix Learning Centre is Ofsted registered, which may allow eligible families to access childcare support towards sessions.
